How do I use the Inks?
OCC Ink™ is ready to use straight from the bottle. Simply pour a few drops as necessary into any airbrush. No thinners or solvents required! OCC INK™ can also be hand-applied, using a standard paint or makeup brush, as well as a stipple sponge or other F/X Tool. As our paint is very concentrated, start with a small amount and build as necessary!How long will OCC INK™ last on the skin?
OCC Ink™ is designed to last for up to 5 days when applied and maintained properly. It is important to prep the skin prior to application by cleaning it with Rubbing Alcohol or astringent first, to make sure it is free of moisturizers, tanning products, natural skin oil, etc. Following this prep, allow a few seconds to dry and then immediately apply the Ink to the skin. Moisturizers, Primers and other cosmetics will create a barrier between the skin and the ink and are not recommended for use where longevity of the design is a priority.Does the Ink have to be set with Powder?
When your Body Art has to last, Setting Powder is an important part of the process. Skipping this step will negatively affect the overall wear. For Temporary Tattoo F/X, this step is a must, enhancing both its longevity and realism.What about Metallics and Duochomatics?
The same rules of Skin Preperation apply, however these Inks are self-setting, so Powder is not required.

How do I clean this stuff out of my airbrush? off my clothes? off myself?
OCC Ink™ is easily removed easily from skin, clothing, or airbrushes using any household rubbing alcohol (70% Isopropyl Alcohol is more than sufficient), available at your local pharmacy or supermarket. Oil-based cleansers such as traditional cold creams will also remove OCC Ink from the skin, though not as quickly as Rubbing Alcohol. Time is of the essence with clothing! Try to remove as much as of the Ink as possible with alcohol first, then pretreat with laundry detergent or stain remover, and wash ASAP! If the stain doesn’t remove entirely, pre-treat again, and re-wash as necessary.

Do special precautions need to be taken when working with OCC Ink™?
Because OCC Ink™ is alcohol-based, it is important that it is only used either outdoors, or indoors only when adequate ventilation, such as an open window or exhaust fan, is available. As with any airborne particle, common sense precautions should be employed: Never spray OCC Ink™ near open flames, or any other ignitable heat source. Do not ingest OCC Ink™, or inhale it directly when it becomes airborne. To prevent accidental inhalation, some users may prefer to wear protective masks, especially if they suffer from breathing conditions, such as asthma. OCC Ink™ is intended for use as a body paint only, and should not be used directly on the face, especially within the eye area. OCC Ink™ is for professional use, by adults only. Please keep out of the reach of children.

How to apply false eyelashes like a pro!

Ok, How do I get false eyelashes on?

1. Before applying lash adhesive, make sure the length of the lash band will fit your eyes so that your false eyelashes will be comfortable. You don’t want your lashes to start too close to the tear duct, or go beyond your natural lash line. You may have to snip a small section off if you eyes are smaller.

2. Apply eye shadow and mascara. This way your lashes will be the same color as the false pair and blend in better. Applying eye shadow first prevents the shadow dust from falling on top of the lashes.

3. Apply a thin line of DUO adhesive to the lash band. DUO comes in white, which dries clear, and also Dark tone, which dries black. I highly recommend the clear for beginners!

4. Allow the adhesive to dry for about 30 seconds. This allows it to become slightly tacky and easier to apply.

5. Get close to a mirror and apply the lash onto the eyelid as close to the lash line as possible. I’ve always read to use a pair of tweezers. You can try this, but I’ve never had any luck using tweezers, unless I’m putting individual (the ones that are 3-4 hairs with a knot on the end)lashes on. I usually do best with my fingers.

6. You can apply mascara to the false lashes if you want. I usually don’t prefer doing this because they are beautiful by themselves, and they don’t look spidery.

7. Keep eyes relaxed and adhesive will be set in no time!

8. Finish off with liquid or gel liner.

If you applying lashes on someone else, the same tips apply, but I do make sure that my client is looking down when applying them. If they close their eyes, then the adhesive sticks to the bottom lashes and makes a mess!
